Microsoft Build 2024 marked a pivotal shift in Microsoft’s AI strategy—introducing Windows AI Foundry, making MCP native on Windows, and open-sourcing WSL to support developers building the next generation of AI agents.

The challenge was communicating Microsoft's vision of an internet where AI agents make decisions and perform tasks on behalf of users and organizations, while grounding it in concrete announcements for developers.

As copywriter, I translated the "open agentic web" concept into content that highlighted immediate value: efficient model deployment across silicon, native MCP integration for discoverability, and open-source WSL for flexibility.

The copy positioned Azure AI Foundry, GitHub, and Windows as the essential platforms for developers ready to build enterprise-grade agents and invent the next big thing.
