The Wyoming Responsible Gambling Coalition needed an educational brochure that could reach people in denial, concerned family members, and casual players alike, without sounding preachy or alarmist.
As copywriter, I developed messaging that distinguished healthy entertainment from compulsive behavior through accessible warning signs and real-world scenarios.
The challenge was striking a tone that felt helpful rather than judgmental, making it safe for readers to self-assess or start difficult conversations with loved ones.
"Don't gamble with your wellbeing" became the anchor—direct enough to cut through rationalization while positioning the Problem Gambling Hotline as a judgment-free resource rather than a last resort.
